Make this SALSA VERDE CHICKEN for the week and you’ll thank me later 🍗 This recipe is SO flavorful, delicious and beyond easy 🙌 Usually recipes for this call for a crockpot + hours to cook but all you need is your stovetop and 2 main ingredients! I love prepping this to add to salads, bowls or tortillas for my meals throughout the week for the easiest meal prep ✔️

Pat dry your chicken and season with salt + pepper. Add oil to a frypan or pot over medium heat then add your chicken once it’s hot, cook chicken on each side for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Add jar of salsa verde and lower heat to a simmer and cover for 10 minutes. Shut off the heat + remove the chicken breasts from the pan into a bowl then shred with two forks. Add the chicken back to the pan and mix with the remaining salsa verde over low heat until combined. That’s it! Enjoy immediately or store in a container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
