Upgrade regular rice to COCONUT RICE 🥥🍚 All you have to do is replace most of the water you use regularly when making rice with a can of coconut milk, that’s it! I like to use full fat or reduced fat coconut milk, both taste delicious, however the full fat may give more of a full coconut flavor. If you’re making a smaller batch then you don’t need the additional water, this is just used to equal 2 parts liquid to 1 part rice since most cans are about 1 3/4 cup liquid ✨

Rinse rice well and add to a pot along with the coconut milk, water, and salt. Bring everything to a boil, and once boiling, give it a stir, bring it down to a simmer, and let it cook covered for 15 to 20 minutes until most of the liquid has been absorbed. Enjoy as is or with your favorite dishes.
