- cut the ends off of plantains and then cut leghthwise down the peel - carefully remove the peel, if you find it’s difficult you can add some oil to your hands a tip my grandma shared - lay the plantain flat on a cutting board then peel plantains lengthwise with a vegetable peeler or cut into coins - brush with olive oil or olive oil spray on both sides - season with salt on both sides - air fry at 350 for 10 minutes, checking in between to make sure they don’t burn - serve with guacamole
