A good dinner idea coming your way: TERIYAKI SHRIMP ๐ค I love the flavor of teriyaki and always forget that I can make it at home to elevate any dish. This dinner takes no more than 30 minutes! ๐๐ป You can use this sauce on salmon, chicken or even chickpeas. You can also use store bought sauce if you wish, or omit the optional ingredients below for a simple teriyaki. I hope you have the best Tuesday my friends! โจ

Defrost shrimp in a large bowl of cold water for at least 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, rinse the rice, boil 1 cup water, and add the rice, bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes covered. Add all the ingredients for the sauce to a bowl and mix well. Remove tails from shrimp and devein. Add olive oil to a skillet over low-medium heat, add the shrimp, and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes. Add the sauce carefully and let thicken for a couple minutes, bring heat up to medium heat if needed. Bring a 1/2 cup of water to a boil, add the broccoli and cover, steam for 5 minutes. Add rice to a bowl along with the shrimp and broccoli, top with sesame seeds.
