- bring a pot of salted water to a boil and boil pasta of choice making sure to reserve pasta water! - add oil to stainless steel pan over low medium heat - add onion and slices of garlic and sauté for about a minute or two - add the entire can of white beans (no draining necessary), can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano - add in the reserved pasta water slowly making sure to scrape the sides and stir occasionally for about 10-15 minutes to let it thicken, add however much water to your liking—I would start with less and add more as you go! - add the pasta into the pan and stir to combine - add to bowls and top with parmesan
