Bringing it back to basics with these SOFT BOILED EGGS 🍳 Soft boiled eggs are great option for breakfast or even to add on top of your ramen. These are so easy to make and only require 6 1/2 minutes to cook.

Start by filling a pot with about 1 inch of water, or enough to reach the eggs halfway but not fully submerged. Bring the water to a gentle boil and add the eggs gently with a slotted spoon. Cover with a lid and cook for 6 1/2 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare an “ice bath” which is a bowl of cold water with ice; this will help stop the eggs from cooking. Carefully drain the hot water and add the eggs to the ice bath for 5 minutes. Gently crack the shell and remove, it’s often easier to do this in the water! Cut in half and enjoy.
