Pan seared salmon is my absolute favorite, but I wanted to kick it up a notch and this did not disappoint. Serve it alongside some rice and veggies for the easiest dinner yet! The recipe suggests using a butternut squash bowl for veggies.

Add avocado oil to a skillet over low-medium heat and the minced garlic, sauté for a minute or so until fragrant. Add the salmon skin side down first, add a pinch of salt and cook for 3-5 minutes. Flip and cook the other side for another 3-5 minutes. Lower the heat down to a simmer, carefully add honey, soy sauce, and lime juice. Note that it will boil a bit but once it’s done boiling then mix. Take a spoon and carefully tip the skillet and spoon the sauce over the salmon—this is called basting. Serve salmon over rice and a veggie bowl with a lime and enjoy!
