What you need

tsp garlic powder

avocado

cucumber

carrot

fl oz soy sauce
oz sesame seed
shrimp

cup water
nori
cup sushi rice
Instructions
Rinse sushi rice well and add to a pot with about 1 cup water, let sit for about 30 minutes. Bring rice to a boil, cover, let simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, defrost shrimp in a bowl of cold water for 10-15 minutes, remove shells, and devein. Add shrimp to a skillet over low-medium heat with olive oil and some garlic powder, cook on each side for 2-3 minutes. Cut shrimp down the middle and also cut the carrot, cucumber and avocado into thin slices. Add nori to a sushi mat (or parchment paper) then add your rice 3/4ths of the way high. Add your fillings towards the bottom, roll up and wet the empty space of nori with water to help seal the roll. Cut into 8-10 pieces, top with sesame seeds and serve with soy sauce.View original recipe
