A Big Ol’ Bowl of Pasta

A big ol’ bowl of PASTA cures just about anything. Pasta + butter is a classic combo that reminds the author of childhood. This recipe is also handy when running low on groceries and results in a perfectly balanced meal with very little effort. Tip: Store frozen veggies and freeze chicken sausage to whip this up in a moment's notice.

What you need

pepper
chicken sausage
tsp salt

box bow tie pasta
broccoli

oz butter
Instructions
If frozen, defrost chicken sausage in a plastic bag in a bowl of cold water (should take about 15-20 minutes to defrost). Bring water to a boil, add pasta, and cook for 6-7 minutes, then drain. Defrost broccoli in the microwave by adding to a bowl with a bit of water and microwave for about 2-3 minutes. Cut sausages into coins. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat, add chicken sausage coins, cook for about 3 minutes on each side until browned.
