Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 F. Bring the Goya empanada dough to room temperature, then place on a cutting board. Add a piece of guava paste to the dough, a bit towards the top to give room for folding. Add Goya queso quesadilla, fold the empanada, and seal it by pressing the edges down with a fork. Complete this with the rest of the empanada dough. Grease a baking sheet with a bit of oil and add your empanadas on top. Crack an egg in a bowl and whisk, then brush over each empanada to help create a golden crust. Using a sharp knife, create a couple slits on the top so the guava can steam as it gets hot while cooking. Bake in the oven for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before enjoying, as they can get hot!View original recipe
