Shrimp Sushi Bowl with Spicy Mayo

An easy homemade sushi bowl recipe, perfect for when sushi cravings hit but sushi-grade fish is hard to find. This version uses white rice and regular shrimp, making it a convenient and delicious meal.

What you need

fl oz soy sauce

head romaine lettuce
oz sesame seed

avocado

tsp sriracha hot sauce

raw shrimp

cup white rice

seasoning mix

carrot
tbsp vegan mayonnaise

cup water

cucumber

edamame
Instructions
Bring a pot filled with 2/3 cup water to a boil, add rinsed rice, turn down to a simmer and cook for 15-17 minutes covered. Meanwhile, cut romaine lettuce, carrot, cucumber, and avocado. Add cooked rice and romaine to a bowl along with sliced veggies and defrosted edamame. Cook shrimp in a skillet over low-medium heat with olive oil and desired seasonings for 2-3 minutes per side. Cut shrimp into small pieces and add to the bowl. Combine 1 TBS vegan mayo and 1-2 tsp sriracha for spicy mayo. Drizzle spicy mayo on top along with sesame seeds and soy sauce if desired.View original recipe
