What you need

pepper

clove garlic clove

bell pepper

tbsp vegan mayonnaise

can black beans
cup gluten-free breadcrumbs

tsp mustard

white onion

tsp ground cumin

tsp onion powder

tsp ketchup
tsp pickle relish
Instructions
Dice the white onion, bell pepper, and mince garlic. To save time, add them to a food processor and pulse lightly. Rinse and drain a can of black beans, then mash well with a fork or add to a food processor and pulse very lightly, ensuring you still see whole beans. Add all contents (onion, bell pepper, garlic, mashed beans) to a bowl and mix in the breadcrumbs, cumin, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4-5 patties, about 1/3 cup each, and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes. Add oil to a skillet over low-medium heat, then add the patties and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Serve on a bun with your favorite burger additions. For the special sauce, combine 3 tablespoons vegan mayo, 2 teaspoons ketchup, 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 teaspoon relish, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and salt.View original recipe
