Broccoli Pasta

Getting in your greens doesn’t have to be that hard with this BROCCOLI PASTA. This pasta dish is SO easy and tastes like it just came out of a restaurant, requiring only 7 ingredients and perfect for an easy, simple dinner. Fun fact: pecorino barely has any lactose, so this dish is creamy without being loaded with all the cream! Feel free to use frozen broccoli if you don’t have fresh.

What you need
tsp salt

pepper
cup pecorino romano

white onion

clove garlic clove
cup broccoli

tbsp butter
Instructions
Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the pasta, cooking for about 9 minutes. Meanwhile, add olive oil to a large skillet over low-medium heat, add the diced onion and cook until translucent. Then, add the garlic and cook for a minute or so until fragrant. Add the broccoli and butter, stirring well. Before draining the pasta, reserve some pasta water. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, then slowly add some reserved pasta water. Add the pecorino romano and stir well. Season with salt and pepper and serve with additional cheese if desired.View original recipe
