Chana Masala

Beyond excited for Chana Masala! I’ve always wanted to tackle Indian food but had no idea where to start. This recipe is beyond easy and only took about 30 minutes! Plus it’s VEGAN, GF, and so good it might just be one of my favorite dinners yet.

What you need

tsp turmeric powder

onion

cup cilantro

cup water

tbsp olive oil
cup minute rice

lemon

tbsp garam masala

tsp ground cumin

tomato

clove garlic clove
Instructions
In a large pot over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon olive oil, onion & garlic and cook for 4-8 minutes. Add all spices and stir. Add in chickpeas, tomatoes, 1/2 cup water and stir for 1-2 minutes. Cover with a lid for 15 minutes, stirring periodically. Reduce to a simmer, add lemon juice and cilantro and stir for 1-2 minutes. Serve over minute rice and you’re done!View original recipe
