CRISPY SESAME TOFU
Serves 345 mins prep30 mins cook
I’ve always been oddly intimidated by tofu but not sure why because it’s really not that hard to cook at all! The key is to make sure you get extra firm tofu for this recipe AND try to get as much moisture out as you can and you’ll be good to go 🙌🏻
0 servings
What you need

cup jasmine rice

oz sesame seed

tsp honey

tbsp rice vinegar

tsp sesame oil

cup soy sauce
tsp cornstarch

broccoli
Instructions
Drain tofu and place on a plate lined with a paper towel, add another paper towel on top and place something heavy on top for 30 mins (I used a cast iron skillet but you can use a plate). Meanwhile, cook the rice and combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame, honey and 1 tsp cornstarch in a bowl and set aside. Cut tofu into cubes and toss in a large bowl with 1 tsp cornstarch. Add oil to a skillet over medium heat, cook the tofu on each side for 3-5 minutes until crispy.View original recipe
