I couldn’t pass up #nationaldonutday without some HEALTHIER CHOCOLATE DONUTS 🍩 They kind of look like the donut emoji too 😜 Whipped these up really quickly and I have to say I’m SO impressed 💁🏼♀️ They’re gluten free, baked instead of fried, have minimal ingredients, no refined sugar, and are overall delicious 😋 I hope you have the best day and eat delicious donuts! ✨

What you need

tsp vanilla extract

cup almond flour

tsp coconut oil

cup cocoa powder

sprinkles

tsp baking soda

cup dark chocolate
extra large egg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and whisk. In a separate bowl, add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, eggs, and whisk. Add the wet to the dry ingredients and combine. Spray a donut pan with non-stick spray, pour in the batter evenly. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave or double boiler method on the stove and dip in each donut, then top with sprinkles.View original recipe
