Homemade Soft Pretzels

Celebrate Friday with these easy homemade soft pretzels! The secret is using a simple 4-ingredient bagel recipe as the base. Top with sesame seeds and salt for an easy dupe when you're craving the real deal.

egg

tsp table salt

tsp baking powder

cup greek yogurt

cup flour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the Greek yogurt to the bowl and mix well again. Add to a floured surface and knead until no longer sticky. Cut the dough into 6 pieces, roll each one out into 12” logs, fold into a pretzel shape. Add to a parchment lined baking sheet, top with egg wash, sesame seeds, salt and bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Optional: broil for an additional minute or so making sure to keep an eye on them that they don’t burn. Optional: add melted butter on top, serve with spicy mustard.View original recipe
